Berk Technology Big Socal Euro Meet

Later on in the month, Berk Technology headed down to the massive Socal Euro Meet at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego with their 135i and 335i project.

This past weekend Berk Technology was out in full force at the annual BIG SoCal Euro Gathering at Qualcomm Stadium. The event drew over 1600 European cars with everything from old school BMW’s to the exotic Ferrari and Lamborghini’s. Thousands of enthusiasts were in attendance to soak in the sights of the show and watch the drifting demo in the parking lot.

On display was the Berk Technology BMW 135i race car and the Berk Technology BMW 335i street car. The Berk 135i debuted at this event with some new stopping power with a new set of 6 piston 355mm big brakes from Rotora. The Berk 335i street car was one of the show favorites with its clean body work and unique gold and black Work VS-XX wheels shod in Dunlop rubber. The Berk Technology booth was very busy at the show as we were again handing out our free posters of the Berk BMW race car.

The event was the perfect opportunity for us to interact with a targeted group from the Euro segment. The year is half over but Berk Technology will still be at more shows & racing events throughout the year. Thank you for all of your continued support!

Berk Technology – Spocom 2009

We apologize for being a little bit behind on our blog updates. We have been hard at work R&D’ing new and exciting products for the Nissan 370Z and BMW 135i/335i/535i. Here are some updates on shows that we have been attending in the recent months.

In late June, Berk Technology packed up their 135i car and headed out to support the Spocom show in Long Beach, California.

Berk Technology made their way to the Spocom 2009 show, the nation’s largest sport compact automotive trade & consumer event. The event took place at the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center just minutes away from the beach. Berk Technology was able to setup in a great location near the front entrance with heavy foot traffic and plenty quality face time in with show attendees.

The next stop is the BIG SoCal Euro Show at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego CA where Berk Technology will have our vendor booth with the Berk BMW 135i race car and Berk BMW 335i street car on display.

Berk Technology: SoCal Euro Gathering 2009

Berk Technology will be at Qualcomm Stadium on Saturday June 27th, 2009 from 11am to 3pm at the So Cal Euro Gathering. Berk Technology / Redline Time Attack Round 2

Berk Technology headed out to Willow Springs Raceway for Round 2 of the Redline Time Attack series. We headed out with Jeremy Croiset and his Toyota MR2, the Berk Technology S2000 driven by Charles Ng, and the Berk Technology 135i driven by Jeff Tyler. All competing in the Street RWD class, we had great success on the 2.5 mile course capturing first, fourth, and fifth place in Street RWD class. Jeremy Croiset’s MR2 took top podium spot with a 1:32.399, Charles Ng ran a 1:33.850, missing third place by a mere .111 seconds. Jeff Tyler and the Berk Technology 135i clocked a 1:34.241.

John Nguyen’s S2000 Featured in Super Street Magazine!

Berk Technology sponsored S2000 has been featured in the July 2009 issue of Super Street Magazine. John Nguyen’s S2000 is undoubtedly one of the cleanest S2000s out there. Best of all, Nguyen not only shows his cars to collect trophies but abuses it out on the track as well putting all his Berk Technology products to the test. Berk Technology at Bimmerfest 2009!

Berk Technology headed out to Bimmerfest in Santa Barbara on May 2nd, 2009. Partnering up with HP Autowerks, we brought our 135i track project vehicle to the event and gave out free 18×24-inch posters featuring the car. The crowd was packed and it was an extremely successful event. Thanks to all of our fans and supporters that came out to say hi and to check out the car. Berk Technology / Bimmerfest 2009

Berk Technology will be attending the Bimmerfest 2009 show in Santa Barbara with their BMW 135i Time Attack project car. Berk Technology – Redline Time Attack @ Buttonwillow Raceway!

This past weekend Berk Technology campaigned their 135i project and their S2000 project at the Redline Time Attack season opener at Buttonwillow Raceway. Putting their products to the test on a rigorous weekend of track racing, the Berk Technology 135i piloted by Jeff Tyler, placed sixth (2:03.612) in the highly competitive RWD Street Class against 62 other more heavily modified sports cars. The BMW features a full Berk Techology downpipe back exhaust system, Code3 Performance Intercooler & oil cooler, Burger Tuning JB3. Handling mods are kept to a minimum with KW Variant 3 coilovers, HP Autowerks LSD, and D-Force EmPower wheels.

The S2000, driven by Charles Ng, had great success as well, placing third place in the same class (2:01.044) with extremely limited modifications proving the Berk Technology header, high flow cat and exhaust fully help maximize horsepower potential from the F22C. Aero Mods on the S2000 are limited to an APR GTC-300 wing and front splitter. Suspension mods are kept to a bare minimum of KW Variant 3 coilovers and FXMD springs. Berk Technology – HIN Anaheim 2009!

Several of Berk Technology sponsored vehicles were at HIN Anaheim this past weekend at Angels Stadium. Our 335i sports our new catless downpipes while TWCompetition’s S2000 is equipped with our header and test pipe. Rommel’s 350Z was also on display with our HFCs.
