Represents Berk Technology in SCCA

David Cosseboom regularly competes in SCCA Solo competition in his stunning Project BMW 135i.  A few weeks ago, Cosseboom entered his 135i into the SCCA Kansas City MiDiv Solo race in the highly competitive STU class.  The event was held at the MCC Precision Driving Center in Independence, MO and the STU class was stacked with some very fast Mitsubishi Evos, Subaru STIs, and a BMW M3.

Most people don’t think it can compete in the class that is dominated by the AWD beasts (STIs and EVOs),” says Cosseboom, who has only just begun his second year of autocross.  “I’ve still got a lot of improving to do, especially in a car that is considered an underdog.” – David Cosseboom

Despite throwing himself into a class where he is an underdog, Cosseboom pulled respectable times all day long taking home 7th place in class, a class where all competitors were separated by mere seconds.  Cosseboom was the highest finishing BMW and the highest finishing RWD car in his class!

The Project BMW 135i is a 2008 model year, daily driven by Cosseboom.  The car is mildly modded, but features Berk Technology resonated mid-pipes as well as a Berk Technology Street Performance Axle-Back exhaust.  Cosseboom also takes some styling cues from our own Time Attack BMW 135i running the same APEX ARC-8 wheels in satin black!

Congratulations to David and the Project BMW 135i for a job well done.  Keep up the good work!
